I'm not the first, and not the last,
To hate the thought of what's happened in the past.
But at times you need to know,
I'm scared like you, I know, I know.

I know your fears, I feel them too,
Yes for myself, but mainly for you.
Don't worry 'cos I've already forgiven,

Whatever the news, if it's good or it's bad,
I might get upset and a little bit mad.
But the first thing I would ever do,
Is have a nice big cuddle for you.

A million things could press on each shoulder,
These things, they come with getting older.
I'm pleased to be honest and pleased it's with you,
But hug me Dan, 'cos I'm scared too.
