Sitting on the pier looking out across the sand,
Arm around me and holding my hand.
I'll love you forever, I love you so.
I'll clutch on forever and never let go.

Your smile makes my heart do a leap.
Your love is one I want to keep.
You're not just my partner you're an amazing friend.
I want you with me 'til the very end.

I'm really sorry I'm not the best.
And the fact I'm not like the rest,
My words could cut so sharper than a knife
But I love you more than I love my own life.

Anything I say would be out of rage.
I hope we're at that stage,
Where we can argue and we can fight.
But later on it'll all be alright.

I'm sorry for being a prat.
For not saying what I feel and that.
My heart will beat for one sole reason.
Through spring and summer and every season.

For a person who's strong and true

And that person, my love, is you.
