Dancing on Ice twists revealed

The line-up for the first show in the new series of Dancing on Ice has been revealed.

In the past the male celebrities went up against the girls, but this year producers have changed the format.

Reality TV queen Kerry Katona, presenter Jeff Brazier, kids TV star Laura Hamilton, veteran journalist Angela Rippon, Corrie's Steven Arnold, Victoria Cross hero Johnson Beharry and eighties rapper Vanilla Ice will skate for survival on Sunday night.

Only two will make it through the public vote, the judges cannot save anyone until show three.

The other eight skaters, including Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe and Frank Lampard's ex-Elen Rivas, will battle it out next weekend.

The panel has been cut and will only feature three judges this year, Robin Cousins, Emma Bunton and resident meanie Jason Gardiner. Karen Barber will act as head coach.

Olympic stars Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will both return and promise their first opening skate will be "magical".
