Dan Williams - Am I Okay?

Why is it, that the one you love, is the one that hurts you the most.
You spend so many years together,
but they have no concern for the way you feel
They do things that rip out your very soul and then as “are you ok? ”
If I was okay would I be up every night crying?
If I was okay would I be the one who can not go out and have a good time?
If I was okay would I be up at night wondering if you still loved me?
If I was okay would I be able to not talk to anyone about it?
If I was okay would I be taking so many drugs that the world was in a blur.
If I was okay would I be sitting in a corner wondering what I did wrong?
If I was okay would I be going to doctors trying to find a fix for my heart?
If I was okay would I be looking at the walls closing in on me?
If I was okay would I be watching my world coming down all around me?
If I was okay would I be the one with the knife to my wrist?
