Dan Brown - Firelight

Fire fire burning bright
Fire fire lights the night
Illuminates the star-strewn sky
Whose turn tonight is it to die?
He blazes, glazes, dances and leaps
Like a vivacious wave across all he sweeps.
Like he has an evil mission, a mission to destroy
Everything in his path; objects, humans, girl or boy.
He cares not for he is the Devil’s own breath,
Spitting and cackling as he sentences death
Upon all stood in his way, he takes innocent lives,
Stabbing and piercing, a wall of knives.
Murdering his soul is no easy feat,
He protects himself with speed and heat,
As he hisses, crackles, turns to a roar,
His curling fingers grasp at the door.
Burning, churning, his wild tongue licks
Anything it can to get him kicks.
There’s no protection, no mercy at all,
As he appears, waltzing down the hall.
He wants to hurt, he wants to kill,
Chasing, racing, his only thrill
Is his only aim, his Master’s goal,

And I think its fire burning in my soul.
