We impact our world
With the words that we choose
Speak kindly, don’t criticize
Do not abuse

The heart is so gentle
And forever young
And can be broken
With the slash of a tongue

When the language is cruel
Mocking, joking, just having fun
Your comments may be choking
Killing the spirit inside of someone

Whatever we sow, that’s what we’ll reap
So when you talk, don’t make it cheap
Encourage…, and say things that are sweet
To all you encounter, to all that you meet
