Description
Every year in the U.S., between 10% and 12% of all births are to premature babies. In the episode of The Lab, DadLabs visits a neonatal intensive care unit at the St. David's Women's Center of Texas and talks to a few staff members to find out what parents can do if they find themselves and their new baby in a NICU. They give us a look at their facility and tell us how they help families deal with the situation they are faced with. They also tell us about some of their observations about fathers and specific ways that dads can help with things like kangaroo care. DadLabs Ep. 722 is brought to you by BabyBjorn.
