Dad's most embarrassing traits

Poor Dad. He tries so hard to get it right, but it seems sometimes he just can’t help making us cringe!
New research from Clinton Cards ahead of Father’s Day has revealed the top things that Dad does to embarrass us. Top of the shame parade is telling bad jokes; with 43% agreeing their Dad has shown us up with his not-so-funny lines.
While not all Dads are that embarrassing, other ways our Dad’s have shown us up include telling stories from our childhood (26%), dodgy dancing (26%), dressing badly (26%) and wearing socks and sandals (22%).
When it comes to the ultimate celeb embarrassing Dad, David Hasselhoff topped the poll with 21%, with Richard Madeley following in a close second place (16%).
Yet despite him making us cringe, when it comes down to it, it seems we really do love our Dads, with two thirds of us agreeing we wouldn’t change him at all.
