D.A. Woods - fallen and broken

When everything has fallen and broken,
and every last word has been spoken,
come and take me away, as my wondering sprit has no way,
of knowing where I'm going.

I'm tired and just want to be,
all the things that I can't see,
sit here beside me for a minute longer,
share the weight set upon my shoulders.

For at least just one day,
let me get away,
to the green side of the road,
to the sweet smell of clean air.
