Custous Angelus - A prideful man

A man who is self made
Cloaks himself with pride
He claims that he has absolute mastery over himself
His paradigms firm and sturdy
His stance strong and unwavering
But the man refuses to admit that he is prideful
Saying that he has no talents to show off
But secretly he knew that we was indeed prideful
When he had nothing to be proud of
More he notices more he clad himself with pride
Saying to himself that he was fine
But now the man is broken inside
Years of regrets and pains flooding in
After all the man wasn’t special
He just learned to think earlier than the others
Still he clothes himself in his pride
Unwilling to let anyone know how fragile he is
Now he has nothing to show off
Or no one to share his problems with
He smiles the superficial smile
And laugh a dry laughter
He is a lonely man
