According to Business Insider, Cuomo is tapping Bill Gates and former Google CEO Eric Schmidt to help rebuild New York.
Bill Gates will help with education and virtual learning.
The move prompted backlash from teachers and lawmakers.
Opponents of Cuomo's plan don't think these tech giants are the be the best people to make decisions for New Yorkers.
