The CUNO Water Factory 47-55707G2 FaucetMate Water Filter is an Ultrafine Carbon Block Taste/Odor/Cysts Postfilter. The CUNO Water Factory SQC filters are a patented Sanitary Quick Change cartridge providing easy replacement, with no tools or spills. The Cuno 47-55707G2 features a high absorption activated carbon block specifically synthesized for reduction of volatile organic chemicals and small particles (down to 1 micron). It provides a high flow stream of drinking water through unique "radial flow" cartridge design. The radial flow design offers the benefits of granular activated carbon (GAC) filtration without the typical pressure drop, while at the same time significantly reducing the release of carbon fines commonly associated with granular activated carbon style cartridges. It is manufactured from FDA compliant materials and is designed for use as the second cartridge in a CUNO FaucetMATE FM 2 Lead Plus and as the second and third cartridges in the CUNO FaucetMATE FM-350 DWS products.
