crystal butler - death

i feel it getting closer every time i take a dreadful breath.
you can smile all you want.
but you'll never out run death.
why do i not run like all the others?
because i wait for death like it's my lost brother.
everyone knows from the begining that there must be an end.
it dosent matter how successful you are or how much money you spend.
death will always find you no matter where you are.
wether you die from a bullet or end up in the tangled remains of a car.
i've been waiting for death for 21 years and still its not in sight.
all i can do is sit around and hope it comes tonight.
so death if your listening you know where to find me.
please come to my face and dont sneak up behind me.
i am not afraid of you death and thats probably why im still here.
your probably waiting on the day i hear you name and turn white from fear.
it will never happen so i guess i will just look for you.
isnt it funny how a rope can turn you four shades of blue? .........
i'm not talking crazy it's just all i have left.
i guess i just spend the rest of my life
searching........
for my best friend death.
