Crystal Bradley - To Live?

I sit and stare all around me
And wonder
Is this real?
If I take a breath
If I move will everything disappear?
Time is short
I feel the end pressing near.
I can't run
I can't hide
My heart is filled with fear.
Do I just sit and whither away?
Or do I fight to live?
What is the point?
We all die in the end.
Yet out of desperation
and greed for my life
I emerge from the shadows
of gloom and strife.
The decision is mine
and I choose to fight.
