Cryptocurrencies Fall A Bit After Weekend Rallies

The leading cryptocurrencies are down on January 8th, after a week-long surge in growth.
Bitcoin is down almost 7-percent on the day, trading at $14,684.
Ethereum is down 2.5-percent on the day, trading at $1,086.
Ripple's xRapid is down almost 14-percent, now trading at $2.38.
While Bitcoin Cash, a derivative of Bitcoin, is down 9-percent on the day, trading at $2,285.
The biggest loser has been Ripple's XRP, that experienced a jump in valuation last week.
