Critics Like Versace FX Series

Last night in FX, the American Crime mini-series 'Assassination of Gianni Versace' premiered. As the title suggests the story is about the murder of the famed fashion designer by crazed stalker Andrew Cunanan. Cunanan then went into hiding for eight days before he took his own life. The mini-series is based on Vulgar Favors: Andrew Cunanan, Gianni Versace, and the Largest Failed Manhunt in U. S. History, written by Maureen Orth. The series stars Ricky Martin and Penelope Cruz.
