Crime stats - Rape and sexual assault increases

Police Minister Bheki Cele says more must be done to fight gender-based violence. He says educational institutions have become a hotspot for sexual violence with over 380 of reported rapes happening at such institutions. Rape is up by 1.7 percent, from 41, 583 to 42,289. Cele presented the annual crime statistics in Parliament earlier.
