Description

International Stem Cell Corporation (the parent company of Lifeline Skin Care) works with some of the best known and respected In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Clinics in the United Statesand only with these clinics. The process in the US is closely regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the benefit of all concernedthe donor; the IVF clinic; the therapeutic research organizations, and eventual recipients of those stem cells. The unfertilized human eggs are made available because the donors are interested in advancing innovations in regenerative medicine. They understand that the non-embryonic (parthenogenetic) stem cells will be used to study, and possibly one day treat, regenerative diseases or injuries such as Parkinsons Disease, congenital liver disease, diabetes, and skin aging.
