What I DID salivate and jump joyously for was the fact that now virtually anything that can hold its form (either raw or mixed with a breading or dough or semi-frozen) can now be dogged, dipped, and fried on a stick. I am still going nuts with the possibilities, but turn anything you want into a meatball paste, and dip it in tempura or beer batter, and ooh Daddy. I also bake them to insure they're cooked through. But I have indeed also gone old-school and made meat mix into a no-casing sausage and pan grilled the result, and plainly and simply, this product easily does as it promises. Unique multi-piece design makes for a bit of a learning curve, but also makes for brilliant clean-up.
