Crash Bandicoot 2 - Cortex Strikes Back

La première scène voit la défaite de Docteur Neo Cortex face à Crash Bandicoot et sa chute depuis son dirigeable. Il atterrit dans une cave et y trouve un cristal. En l'étudiant, il découvre qu'un futur alignement de planètes vu détruire toute vie sur terre. Seul plusieurs cristaux pourront permettre d'absorber cette énergie.

Une année plus tard Cortex a construit à l'aide de N.Gin une station spatiale afin de se racheter en sauvant la planète grâce aux cristaux. Mais il n'en possède pas suffisamment et N.Gin lui fait remarquer que plus aucun agent de Cortex se trouve sur terre suite a sa trahison envers N.Brio. Il décide donc de faire appel à Crash pour récuperer les 25 derniers cristaux.
