Craft Idea: Scented Bath Salts

The perfect DIY gift! For a friend, for mothers' day, or for yourself! I expecially like this project because it's personal and home made, but it still has a function.

You will need:
-Epsom salts or coarse sea salt
-essential oil (I recommend lavender or eucalyptus)
-liquid food colouring (optional)
-a pretty jar

Add the essential oils to the salts. Use more than you think you'll need, as the scent will dissipate when added to the bath water. If you like colour, add a drop or two of food colourig. Don't worry, it;s not going to stain either you or your tub.

Store the scented salts in a decorative jar. If you're giving this as a gift, add a ribbon and a tag.
