COVID: Will the Delta Plus variant cause a third wave?

Amid the relaxation in lockdown, a Covid-19 variant that has emerged as a new threat in India is Delta Plus. So far 40 cases of Delta Plus have been reported in the country. The Delta Plus variant of COVID-19 has been identified as a variant of concern. Amid various concerns the biggest concern is will Delta Plus variant lead to a major third wave in the country.
