Michael Bay's theatrical 'Transformers' franchise has been around for five films over the span of 11-years.
The films have been called 'gaudy', 'over the top', and 'bombastic.'
The movie have earned a lot of money while also being a favorite punching bag for film critics.
But, 'Bumblebee' might be the film to turn the franchise around.
The movie holds a 94% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Rick Marshall, from Digital Trends, said 'Bumblebee' has heart and can save the franchise.
