Chucked over my shoulder,
Without a look behind.
This false key of yours,
Is no longer mine.

Plastic and hard,
Not golden and true.
Why in the world,
Did I fall for you?

My quiet thoughts
Are now hostile words.
My zipped lips,
Are now being heard.

I konw how this works,
I know how it feels.
This love of yours,
Never was real.

Too many locks,
Only a single key.
None in which,
You gave to me.

I throw it over my shoulder,
Let out a little laugh.
This stunt of yours,
Never will last.

So many fake hearts.
So little time.
Tell me, what its like.
To be alone and die?
