Corporate earnings for 3Q below expectations

Corporate earnings results for the third quarter of this year have been disappointing, with a large number of firms showing earnings that were below expectations.

CIMB Research said out of the 117counters covered by the research house, only 13 per cent were above expectations, while 37 per cent came in below expectations.
