Corking quarter for Apple

Apple is riding high on the news of better than expected quarterly earnings. The already-pricey shares jumped on the news, which came after the company announced it has sold forty million of its latest phones already, and cannot make them fast enough to sell.

It is already Apple’s best-ever product launch, and the iphone 6 has already sold more than its predecessor’s total sales.

Computer shipments also showed the strongest growth for years, but tablet sales slid for a third straight quarter.
