I remember November the 26th 1997
I remember it was like my little sister ascended from heaven
I remember fallin and slippin and bustin my head
I remember the time when I wished I was dead
I remember January 14th year two thousand
I remember that day I had my head in the clouds and
My brother entered the world
He had no clothes because the doctor's said it was a girl
I remember when I called money 'Happy days.'
I remember hurtin myself in many different ways.
I remember when choked on some hard candy
I remember when I first met my Aunt Sandy
I remember when I first discovered I could sing
I remember when I got my earring, I screamed 'bling bling'
I remember when I had braids
I remember when I first learned about AIDS
I remember that beautiful sunny day August 30th,2003
I remember when my mother said she had somebody that wants to meet me
I remember that day when I saved my brother's life
I remember when I got a whoopin' for running with a knife
I remember learning my first Spanish word
I remember thinkin it was the coolest thing I've ever heard
I remember when I wrote my first story
I remember feelin the greatest and bountiful with glory
I remember writing 'Kids news bulletin live.'
I remember at my concert I couldn't wait to arrive
I remember when I first met my best friend
I remember thinkin he was gay but now we're friends to the end
I remember that beautiful day May 28th,2005
I remember it cuz thats the day my sister came alive
I remember learnin the bathroom could also be called the lav
But with all these there are memories I wish I didn't have.
