Of the events surrounding them.

People who continue
Working hard for every
Paycheck.
Shortly it could come to an end.

Houses are being foreclosed on,
At a faster pace, Then in any
Previous decade.

Pray,

Those who believe
That your god will
decide to forgive your sins.

Fix,

Your attitude toward those
not from our country,
Give them the same opportunity
That our ancestors once had.

Love,
Love,
Many hearts lost amongst
Those who say they are in “love”
If they only could see
Personalities are always changing,
Many are simply not meant to be.

Concerned,
Concerned,
Those who are bothered
About a politician’s personal life,
Rather than with the policies
At hand.

Power,
Power,
Nations are always at war
Their hunger can never be contained,
as people continue to die,
They remain indifferent.

America,
America,
You have finally fallen
Wake up
From this slumber that you are in,
Let’s care for one another again,
And no longer live in fear.

End,
End,
Everyone will eventually succumb to their own failures
And will finally have no excuses
To fall back on for all their actions.
