Cordelia Adams - Bliss
7 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
When in your garden I could stand and stare
And drink in all the beauty
That is lovingly kept there.
The hedges neatly clipped
The Lupins tall and stately,
The doves and birds that come to feed
The squirrels running swiftly.
The flowers too numerous to mention
Their colours so vivid and so pale,
The Willow tree weeps so gently
The Crown Imperial stands supreme.
Oh! what a wondrous way
To spend happy hours in a day,
To walk, to touch, to feel,
And know all this is real.
