Cops looking for man who slapped mini-mart staff

A man caught on video slapping a woman in a mini market is being sought by the police for "threatening and beating" the victim.

According to Southwest district OCPD A Anbalagan, the suspect is sought under Section 323 of the Penal Code for threatening and causing injuries to the victim.

He said the incident captured in the 18-second video, which has since gone viral on social media, took place yesterday at a mini-mart at Setia Triangle in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
