CoP TAKES DISCIPLINARY ACTION AGAINST COPS

Four days after the matter involving seven police officers was discharged by Master Sarah Da Silva- after police officers failed to turn up for the hearing and evidence had not been submitted in the case in which the officers were accused of extortion in an incident that occurred in Sangre Grande in 2023. Commissioner of Police Erla Harewood- Christopher says disciplinary action will be taken against the officers who failed to turn up for the hearing of the matter and she was also consulting with the DPP.
