Cool, windy and rainy Monday

Good morning. Rain, wind and cooler conditions are on tap for most areas. Dark clouds have been dropping moderate to heavy showers since late last night. The rain will continue until late tonight. So take a sturdy umbrella with you on your way out.
Strong winds are slamming southern and western coastal areas as well as Jeju Island with an advisory in place. Check flight schedules in advance if you are traveling to areas under heavy rain advisories like Jeju Island and parts of the Jeolla-do and Gyeongsang-do Provinces.
Storm clouds are expected to dump 30 to 80 millimeters of rain on regions under heavy rain alerts.
Right now, it's quite windy and murky. The wind will make it feel cooler than the actual temperatures... starting the day in the upper teens for most areas.
Afternoon highs won't rise much.. expect daily highs to be 8 to 10 degrees lower today,... in the low twenties across the nation.
