As part of a campaign on Climate Protection, this video from Siemens Energy shares the story of Dr. Peter Fraenkel, the inventor of the tidal power plant SeaGen. It is filmed on the shoreline of Portaferry, a tranquil coastal town in County Down, Northern Ireland.

Even Dr. Peter Fraenkel himself thinks that his idea to stick a windmill upside down into the water is kind of crazy. But success proves him right.
