Conversion row: Mother gets custody
Description
The Ipoh High Court today issued an ex-parte order granting custody of three children who were forcibly converted to Islam by their father to their mother M Indira Ghandi.
According to legal advisor A Sivanesan, who was in court today, the order was issued in chambers this afternoon.
Currently two of the children Tevi Darsiny, 12 and Karan Dinesh, 11 are with Indira while the youngest child, one-year-old Prasana Diksa, is with her husband K Pathmanathan, who has since assumed the name Mohd Redzuan Abdullah.
