Continental airlines plane forced to return to Panama after engine problems.
Description
A U.S.-bound Continental Airlines flight returned to Panama on Friday (November 18) after a bird flew into one of the aircraft's turbines.
The Boeing 737-900 had just left Panama City when the bird was sucked into the engine, causing the pilot to radio the control tower for help.
The aircraft carrying 176 passengers returned safely to Tocumen International Airport.
