Construction Worker Discovers Wooly Mammoth Tooth
Description
A construction worker in Iowa discovered a giant woolly mammoth tooth at a job site in Iowa. Justin Blauwet, a self-described dinosaur & fossil ‘nerd,’ says he recognized the tooth was no ordinary object.
The fossil, which is believed to be 20,000 years old and weighs 11 pounds, will go on display in the Sheldon Prairie Museum at Northwest Iowa Community College.
