CONSIDER VULNERABLE STUDENTS
Description
58 percent of students at the University of the West Indies rely fully on GATE to support their education. That's according to the President of the Student's Guild, Kobe Sandy. He was commenting further on TV6's Morning Edition, on government's announcement that it does not support an increase in tuition fees for students for the 2022/23 academic year.
Sandy says gradual increases would be a better option in the foreseeable future.
