Consider This: PT3 Exams (Part 1) — Policy Change Without Rationale?
Description
Senior Minister for Education Radzi Jidin has announced that the Form Three Assessment examination or PT3, will be abolished effective this year. This after 2 years of PT3 exams being cancelled due to the pandemic, and last year the Standard 6 UPSR examination was abolished. Earlier this week, the Education Minister was asked by Parliament to attend a Special Select Committee meeting, to provide further explanation on the rationale to do away with the examination, as well as the preparations and alternatives in its place, however the minister had failed to turn up.
