The opinion research outfit, Merdeka Center, released the results of their latest survey titled: ‘Perceptions towards Economy, Leadership & Current Issues’. Included in the survey was sentiment on the current Prime Minister with 69% of respondents saying they are satisfied with his performance. However the survey found some significant ethnic variances in disaggregated data. Melisa Idris and Sharaad Kuttan speak to Ibrahim Suffian, Executive Director, Merdeka Center.
