April 1st marks the start of a transition period -- dubbed as the ‘Transition to Endemicity’ phase -- in which the Government’s public health policies will move away from blanket restrictions towards specific interventions and public guidance. But after two years of living with many necessary restrictions, are public health authorities and citizens prepared for the transition to live with, and manage the virus?
