Connie Smith - My Dad

The man I truly loved is gone
He left me all alone.
I miss him a lot, I cannot lie
My world has changed the day he died.
I cry at night, knowing what I have to do
I need to grow up, and live life anew.
He taught me much, his love will stay
My dad is with me, even though he is away.
Love last for all, and stays for a few
But my dad's love is daily and new.
