Alright this is the best one so far. From the Ultimate X-men book we know that Charles Xavior and Magneto had a thing in the Savage Land and Magneto drove a spear through his spine when he tried to leave but this is the first showing of how they got there. It is continuing to draw connections between the mutant world as we find out that it was Magneto’s parents that were experimenting on Wolverine. One thing that I don’t understand though so help me out if you can is that the last book gave me the impression that the scientists created the first mutant in wolverine. How then is their son a mutant and why did his dad freak out. That doesn’t really make sense to me but Bendis doesn’t always like to fully explain things until he has too. The little red seeing eye thing is flat out creepy and I’m not sure I even want to know what it is. Is it popping up out of the ground or falling from the sky or just materializing? I don’t know but it’s going to be crazy. I’m glad that the story is beginning to move forward a bit more and we’ll just have to wait and see what those creepy things are.
