Colombians await ex-spy chief's declarations

María del Pilar Hurtado, the former chief of Colombia's now-defunct Department of Administrative Security (DAS) is about to give her declaration to the country's Supreme Court. Colombians hope the declaration will indicate who the officials were who ordered the espionage against participants in the peace talks in Havana, Cuba and who threatened judges and human rights defenders during the administration of former president Alvaro Uribe. teleSUR
