Colombia: War Victims Face Landowner Repression

Although land restitution for those displaced by Colombia's armed conflict is contemplated in 2011 Victims Law, rural communities charge that they face intimidation and repression from landowners and business interests. Right-wing paramilitary formations use violence to destroy the campesinos' homes, crops, and livestock.
