Colombia: ELN willing to declare cease-fire

The National Liberation Army, Colombia's second largest armed rebel organization, announced that it is willing to declare a cease-fire -following the lead of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia- if peace talks start with the government. Secret exploratory talks with the governments have been underway since the beginning of 2012. Today's announcement was well received by Colombian society.
