As him all Europe wants to honor their memory, for a few days Germans, Italians, Poles, Americans and English have arrived in Colleville on the eve of an historical day.
Along the 300 meters of red carpet a selected few will commemorate, veterans, ex-servicemen, American soldiers but also young schoolboys and high-school pupils, the ceremony should begin around 14H30 , the precise program of the day will be revealed at the minute for security reasons.
Between 7,000 and 9,000 people received an invitation amongst them 125 American veterans.
