Collaboration project between Mapbox and Porsche on future navigation

Porsche shows at the startup conference Slush in Helsinki results of a collaboration project on the future of navigation.

It's about a human machine interface that is efficiently designed for drivers, navigating the curves and scenery of the worlds most thrilling drives. Porsche embodies the emotion of driving. Speed, performance, and perfection belong to the core of the brand - in regard to every detail of the car and the experience. In order to match navigation with the sportscar of the future, Porsche has been working on a collaboration project with Mapbox, an open source mapping platform for custom designed maps. In a period of only a few weeks, the designers from Porsche and Mapbox have been able to show in a prototype what could be possible for the future.
