The wind stabs at my cheeks
coming from the wrong direction
It directs traffic onto a dirt road
that stinks of sulfur and vinegar
You just want to get out of here
but you are stuck because
there are no exits
No doors exist
What is is what is
and I can't take it anymore
I'm worked and rubbed
and it's cutting into my skin
I feel the dust that will eventually
stab the open space
and travel with the wind
Alone in death
until death finds me
