Thought I had someone to call my own
Someone to laugh with, and talk with on the phone
Thought it was the real deal for a long time
Now im sittin here tryin to think of a ryme
I just knew you were the right girl for me
Thought one day we would start a family
But time marched on and we grew apart
Makes me wonder if you loved me from the start
Now im waiting for you to choose your route
Meanwhile, im being torn apart from the inside out
Sometimes i think of ending my life
Whenever i see a sharp knife
If i did, it would cause you a lot of pain
Id like to think it would drive you insane
But id never do this, because i love u too much
I just wish i could feel the warmth of your touch
Time changes all things after a while
Just guess ill go on living without a smile….
