Cody Kidd - Pilot's Poem

As I look towards the sky
My heart full of joy
High in the air I'll fly
Like I wanted to as a boy

To be in the air flying free
With my problems down below
Up here, no one can bother me
Even if I'm ten feet low

Until I approach the strip
With my landing gear locked
As I come close to ending my trip
When I touch down, I'm full of shock

Flying is the second best thing in life
Landing is the first
